Hey everybody, I am a theatre design major, I design mostly lighting for productions here at good ol' Ball State University. Its a lot of hard work, its challenging and exhilarating.

The most important thing in my life right now is my friends. I really value trust and loyalty. I absolutely love to be sarcastic and joke around, love to laugh and make others laugh. I don't like to take myself too seriously, Life is more fun that way.

I love the arts: music, drawing, theatre, dance, movies, etc. I also really enjoy anything outdoors: anything from hiking, camping, and white water rafting to sports, hangout in a park, taking a walk.

I am a good guy, honest, and very sincere. Ultimately I aspire for something more long-term, but meeting new people is always nice. I am a mix of a masculine guy with a sensitive side. I think one of the things that can either put a guy off or turn him on is how i can go from being a girly girl to one of the guys. I also enjoy volunteering. I currently am a VOICE college trainer in Indiana. VOICE is a youth led movement in Indiana agaisnt the gorillia marketing tactics used by the tobacco comapines. VOICE is not anti-smoker but anti-tobacco industary. I have been with VOICE for 6 years now. I work with Jr. High to High school aged youth. Jr. High would have to be my favorite group to work with. So many questions about life and I believe that what choices they make at that age can define who they are for a very long time. I love watching these youth go from being role models in there schools to making a difference in their commuities after graduation. I also am a Peer Health Educator at Ball State. aka im the condom lady..lol I educate my peers on everything from sex and STI's (yes it is now Sexually Transmitted Infections, It was changed to sound more curable becasue most STI's are.) to drinking, drugs, rape, and mental/physcal health and wellness.

Outgoing, empathetic, artsy, nut pretty much. I went to an academy completely focused on science, math, and english that only accepted the top kids and ended up in an art major. Basically I always have to be challenged whether its something I'm interested or not.
I've kinda had my whole life focused on school and not much on my social life. Over the past four-ish years I have basically shut myself off from the world. I do not have a solid reason for doing so, it just sort of happened. I would like to change that now, finally. Now that that is out of the way, if you want to know more here goes:

I am extremely shy. Just casually speaking to people I have known for a while can still cause me to blush. I do genuinely want to talk most of the time, but I get nervous and convince myself to say nothing. Once I get to know someone and become comfortable around them I can talk a lot. About nothing.

I do some very odd things to entertain myself from time to time. Example? Read my page and see if you can find any contractions. Yeah, I have no explanation for that, I just thought it would be funny. I found out that it is not funny and makes me feel like I am typing like a robot. (I'm not a robot, I swear. See, I even used a contraction to prove it.)

I have been called "straight-edge" by other people, but I have never used that term to describe myself. I have never tried alcohol, cigarettes, or any kind of drug, ever. I do not have a reason for this, I just never thought they were for me so I passed.

I play a lot of video games. I feel like I should mention this better as it is apparently a big part of my life, but I do not know what I should say.

I am just living a laid back lifestyle right now enjoying some spare time. I LOVE watching football my favorite team is the Denver Broncos. I play a lot of pool. I like climbing trees, reading captivating books, meeting new people, traveling, dressing up for the hell of it, trying new things, going on long walks with no where to be, watching plays and movies, listening to NPR's This American life, I tend to procrastinate homework often, I like talking with people who can have abstract thoughts, I enjoy learning new things and I'm mainly interested in sociology and psychology, and I think life should be an adventure... make of it what you can.

I'm a very loveable and fun person. I have my moments, but who doesn't. I like to make people laugh, and i believe i'm pretty good at it. i'm a kid at heart, but when i need to be, i can be super serious and mature. i love the twilight series, and i love to chill and relax and watch some tv. I spend a lot of my time now working and hanging out with friends to keep my mind off the troubles of life. I try my hardest to keep other people happy at all times. I tend to worry about other people more then I worry about myself. I try to make everyhing around me seem better then it is, but that's just how life goes. I've been through a lot of hard times when I was younger and i'm trying to make up for me not being able to live my life as a normal kid. So if you enjoy laughing and having a good time you should totally hit me up. All my friends think i'm crazy. I think they may be right to an extent, but crazy is as crazy does. I have a lot of morals in life and I know what I want out of it. I've been out and about looking for the right person, but sometimes I think I never will. Just when I thought I did, everything was broken downhill, so now i'm stuck in the rut that I can't seem to get myself out of. I've been rambling in the self-summary thing for quite some time now, but it's only because I want my profile to the biggest percent I can get it, so i wouldn't blame you at all for not sitting through this whole thing because I know that I wouldn't....lol. Uhh my name is Roger. Right now I'm completing my apprenticeship in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Which means I'm a Union Electrician. I like to fish, play video games and play with my dog. Right now in my spare time I write for a website dedicated to the nerd culture called The Nerdiest Kids. It's something I do to just kind of pass the time.

Personally I have a really hard time communicating with women because I have what is called a General Anxiety Disorder. Which means that I am constantly on edge about everything. And because of this whenever I try to approach a girl I freeze up and can't say anything. I don't expect anyone to read my profile so I have no problem sharing that ;)

Based upon what you read in the previous paragraph you should be able to deduce that I am a very quiet person. I don't have a lot to say. I have a hard talking so I let my actions speak for themselves.

I try to keep to myself but I have been known to fly off the handle if someone is relentlessly picking on me. Also if somebody is picking on someone smaller or weaker than them I feel a duty to help the victim. It gives me satisfaction to put bullies in their place for some reason. So basically what I'm saying in the this paragraph is that I will stand up for myself. my loved ones and anyone else who needs protection. I believe that all humans should be treated like humans and not put down because they are somewhat weaker.

Basically I am here to meet some friends and what I really hope for is for a girl to look past my grizzly bear looks and see the gentle loving giant inside me. I am the the most kind loyal person you could ever meet.

Also I have very high moral standards. I would rather die than to ever tell someone a lie. I never cheat and I never steal. I figure if I can't obtain it on my own then I don't deserve it. I consider myself a Christian although I have fallen away a bit lately but I plan to make myself right with God someday. I'm a virgin still. I have waited 22 years so I think I can wait a few more until I get married. And if I never get married then so be it. I don't compromise. I am very headstrong for better or for worse.

As far as politics go I tend to lean torward the left. I hesitate to discuss that here but it is important in our world today. However I love to hear other people's points of view on the matter and I am a very good listener. So don't be put off by the fact that we may not agree politically.

I really hope to hear from any females soon that may be interested in a friendship or more preferably a long-term relationship.

Honestly, I'm looking around in a bit of as I am not really a fan of the bar scene. Most of the time lately it's just been work, getting ready to transition back to college, playing videogames, and working out.

I'm a basic nice guy, although, I do have one hell of a sarcastic streak. I am "sort of " hunting for a partner, I tend to vacillate since I am rather enjoying being single. It is kind of nice to have a turtle in the sink and painting supplies all over the house without anyone to grumble.
